GroupCore Ltd, trading as Free Software House, company number 17002943, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 107 High Street, Thurnscoe, Rotherham, S63 0QZ, United Kingdom. Email: info@groupcore.co.uk.
This licence describes the permission for official Free Software House free editions. It applies to a release that identifies this licence in its accompanying notices. PAD is not yet publicly released. Any separate paid licence will identify the purchased scope before sale.
Permission to use
We grant you a non-exclusive permission to install and run the official free edition for lawful personal or internal business use, at no licence charge, within the feature limits stated for that edition. You may make reasonable backup copies. Ownership of the software is not transferred.
For PAD’s free edition, the stated scope is ten editable buttons, numbered 0–9. Development switches or incomplete licence screens do not grant a paid entitlement. For Raffle Ticket Printer Free, numbering is limited to 500 tickets per job, starting at 1 without a prefix. Registered permits custom starting numbers/prefixes and up to 1,000,000 tickets per job for one named user. The signed registration file is personal to the licensed user and must not be redistributed. Optional paid features require the licence explicitly supplied for them.
Permission to redistribute
You may copy and redistribute the complete, unmodified official free release at no software licence charge. Keep the licence, copyright notices, release information and any third-party notices with it. Identify Free Software House as its source and preserve the official download link.
Do not alter the executable or package, wrap it in an installer that adds unrelated software, remove notices, imply that you wrote it, misrepresent an endorsement, or present a modified copy as an official release. Do not sell our free software as though you own its licensing rights. Separate services you provide must be clearly identified as your own.
Do not include personal macros, credentials, registration details or other users’ data in a redistributed package. Sharing an application package and sharing your saved configuration are different actions.
Paid Personal and Business licences
Personal Unlimited is a one-off licence for one named user. Business Pack is a one-off licence for one organisation with up to 25 staff using its licensed copy. The free package may be shared under the permission above; paid licence credentials and entitlements must not be published, resold or shared outside the licensed scope.
The edition and scope shown on your accepted order determine your entitlement. A Business licence may be reassigned within the same organisation when a staff member leaves, keeping within the 25-staff limit. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Future paid upgrades require a separate purchase decision. Features not stated in the accepted order, including a cloud administration service, are not included.
Closed source and third-party components
The application is proprietary, closed-source freeware. This licence does not grant access to or ownership of source code or a general right to create derivative versions. You must not circumvent edition restrictions or copy paid licence credentials.
Restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not remove non-excludable rights, including applicable interoperability exceptions. Third-party components remain subject to their own accompanying licences; those terms govern the relevant components.
Your content and safe operation
You retain your rights in text and configuration you create. You are responsible for using content you are entitled to use and for checking the target and result of an action. Test new macros in a suitable scratch area. Stop prevents further actions and does not undo work already performed.
Local data and exports may be plain text. Keep secrets out of macros and maintain backups. Do not use PAD to access systems without authorisation or rely on it for safety-critical operation.
Updates and ending use
Only features and compatibility stated for the released version are included. Future platforms, major editions and ongoing support are not promised merely by providing a free release. We may issue fixes or replacement versions and explain any material licence changes before they apply.
You may stop using the application at any time. Keep any personal data you need, then remove the application and its data as appropriate. For a material licence breach, we may end permission after notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy where that is appropriate. Existing lawful redistribution is not retroactively invalidated by a later policy change.
Rights and questions
The responsibility and statutory-rights provisions in our terms apply. No provision excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact info@groupcore.co.uk if you need a distribution arrangement outside this permission.
