What this site currently collects

The public information pages do not use advertising trackers, analytics, accounts, newsletter forms or embedded third-party content. Their fonts, images and scripts are served with the site. Reading them does not send your saved PAD macros to us.

Normal website requests disclose an IP address, request time, page address and browser information to the hosting service. Access and security logs may record those details. We use Krystal hosting to serve and protect the website.

If you email us, we receive your address, name if supplied, message and attachments. We may receive payment or order details from GroupCore’s payment provider when sales are enabled. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in a message.

We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you solely through automated profiling. There is no marketing list on this site. If we add optional marketing or non-essential tracking, we will explain it and obtain consent where required.

Sales and payment providers

No paid PAD order is available yet. When sales open, GroupCore will handle the order and redirect card entry to Stripe’s hosted checkout. We will retain the order reference, purchased item, amount, currency and verification result, and the contact information needed to fulfil it. Full card numbers and card security codes are not collected by the Free Software House checkout.

Stripe may handle payment details, fraud checks and related records under its own responsibilities. Read Stripe’s privacy notice before using its services. Order details necessary for payment and delivery will be shared; unrelated local PAD content is not required.

Who may receive information

Access is limited to people and suppliers who need it for the purpose: hosting and IT providers, email services, payment processing when used, professional advisers, and public authorities where disclosure is legally required. We do not sell your personal data.

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer is made, an applicable adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual safeguard must protect it. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data; provider notices explain processing they undertake as independent controllers.

How long records are needed

We keep information only while needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including necessary backup, security, contractual and legal requirements. The period depends on the record: an unresolved support issue needs its relevant history; an accounting record may need to remain for the statutory record-keeping period; a claim may require relevant records until resolved and the applicable limitation period has passed.

Hosting logs are subject to the hosting service’s operational retention. We do not promise a particular automatic deletion period that the hosting account has not been configured to enforce. Contact us if you need the retention position for a particular record.

Your choices and rights

Subject to the conditions in applicable data-protection law, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting processing already lawfully carried out.

Email info@groupcore.co.uk to exercise your rights. We may need proportionate information to verify identity, and will explain if a legal exception prevents us from fulfilling part of a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

You can browse the information pages without creating an account. A valid contact address and the information needed for a transaction will be required if you choose to order; without them we may be unable to fulfil that order. Optional information is not required.

PAD’s local data

The current PAD build saves macros and settings on your PC, with no telemetry, analytics or mandatory account. Text and exports are plain text. You control your local backups and any exports you share. A website opened from a macro makes an ordinary browser request. The PAD guide explains storage; release-specific notices accompany the software.

Changes

The version and date above identify this notice. We will update it when the site or sales processing changes and provide additional information at any new collection point.
