1. Who we are
GroupCore Ltd, trading as Free Software House, company number 17002943, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 107 High Street, Thurnscoe, Rotherham, S63 0QZ, United Kingdom. Email: info@groupcore.co.uk.
These terms cover this website and orders accepted for Free Software House products. Our software licence, cancellation and refund policy, and the product description and order summary also apply. Privacy and cookie notices explain data use; they are not consent to marketing.
2. What is available
Free Software House provides proprietary freeware and may offer optional paid editions or services. A free edition costs £0 within the scope stated on its product page. A paid edition is a separate, optional purchase; you do not need to buy one to use a free edition.
PAD is currently in development. Public downloads and paid orders open when the released software and payment service are ready. Personal Unlimited is £29.99 once, and Business Pack is £99 once for up to 25 staff. Raffle Ticket Printer is available as a development preview; Registered is £29.99 once for one named user and this major version. Paid sales remain closed until the release and payment service are ready. Future platforms described as planned are not available releases.
3. Using the website
You may read, print and save the site for personal or business reference and link to our pages honestly. Do not misrepresent an association with us, copy our brand to impersonate an official download, interfere with the website, distribute malware, attempt unauthorised access, or use it unlawfully.
Website text, design and branding belong to GroupCore Ltd or their respective owners. Our permission to distribute a software release does not grant ownership of those materials. Third-party links are provided for their stated purpose; another organisation controls its own site and terms.
4. Before you order
When a paid product becomes available, its order page will identify the edition, features, licence scope, supported operating systems, technical requirements, total price, currency, delivery method, delivery time and any update or support entitlement. Read these details and check compatibility before ordering. Tell us about a requirement you need us to confirm.
Prices shown at checkout will be the total payable, including applicable taxes and disclosed charges. We will not add optional extras without your express choice. No recurring charge or automatic renewal applies unless it is clearly described and separately agreed. A one-off licence does not imply every future major version or indefinite support.
Our checkout and contract information are provided in English. You can correct order details before committing to pay. You must have authority to make the purchase and, when ordering for a business, authority to bind that business.
5. GroupCore checkout and acceptance
GroupCore Ltd is the seller and merchant for Free Software House orders. Our intended payment route sends you to GroupCore and then Stripe’s hosted checkout. Check the order and total before using the final payment control. We do not ask you to email card details or enter them in a support request.
An order becomes a contract when we confirm acceptance and the purchased entitlement. A payment acknowledgement alone does not confirm that a licence has been issued. We will provide an order reference and a confirmation you can keep, with the applicable terms and any immediate-supply consent. If we cannot accept a paid order, we will explain and refund the payment.
We may refuse an order we cannot fulfil, one with an obvious material pricing error, or one reasonably suspected of fraud or unauthorised use. We will not substitute a different edition or charge a higher price without your agreement.
6. Digital delivery
Software and licences are supplied electronically using the method and timeframe stated before purchase. No physical product is supplied unless expressly described. Keep your receipt, licence and a backup of the released installer or portable package.
If a delivery does not arrive, contact us with your order reference and check your email filtering. A payment return page by itself does not authorise a download or activate a licence; the payment must be verified. We will not take orders for an edition that has no working delivery process.
7. Cancellation, faults and refunds
Our cancellation and refund policy explains consumer cancellation, digital-content problems and how to request help. We do not describe every software payment as non-refundable.
For immediate digital delivery during a consumer cancellation period, we will ask for express consent to start supply and acknowledgement that the cancellation right is lost when supply begins. This is separate from accepting these terms. Without the required consent, acknowledgement and confirmation, we will not rely on that exception.
Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable rights for digital content that is faulty, not as described or unfit for its agreed purpose.
8. Software use and support
The software licence governs use and redistribution. You remain responsible for the content of your macros, choosing the destination and reviewing actions. Keep appropriate backups. PAD is not a password manager or a guarantee of error-free automation.
Support and updates are those described for the particular release or order. Contact us to report a problem, including the product version, Windows version and steps that reproduce it. Do not send passwords, payment details or private documents unless a specific, appropriate method has been agreed.
9. Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep descriptions accurate and the website available, but may need to correct errors, maintain it or temporarily restrict access. Planned dates and unreleased features can change. Changes do not rewrite an accepted order.
We are responsible for loss caused by our breach where the loss was reasonably foreseeable. We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability the law does not allow us to exclude. A consumer’s statutory rights remain intact. We do not accept responsibility for unrelated third-party services or losses caused solely by misuse contrary to clear instructions.
10. Complaints and disputes
Contact info@groupcore.co.uk or write to the registered office, giving your order reference where relevant. Explain the problem and the outcome you seek. We will investigate and explain the next steps; if unresolved, we will provide information about applicable dispute-resolution options and whether we agree or are required to use them.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain mandatory protections and the right to bring proceedings in the courts available to them under the law of their place of residence. This clause does not require a consumer to give up those rights.
11. Changes and records
The date and version at the top identify these terms. Later changes apply prospectively, not retrospectively to accepted orders. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue so far as lawful. Only you and the seller may enforce an order except where the law provides otherwise. Save or print these pages for your records.
