GroupCore Ltd handles Free Software House sales, cancellations and refunds. Contact info@groupcore.co.uk, or write to 107 High Street, Thurnscoe, Rotherham, S63 0QZ. Include your name, product and order reference, plus what went wrong or that you wish to cancel. Do not send full card details.
PAD is coming soon and this site currently takes no paid orders. A free edition has no purchase price to refund. The following explains how paid digital-content orders will be handled when they open.
Consumer cancellation
If you buy as a consumer at a distance, you normally have 14 days from making a digital-content contract to cancel without giving a reason. You can use any clear cancellation statement; the optional form below is provided for convenience.
If you expressly request immediate digital supply, acknowledge that your cancellation right will be lost when supply starts, and receive the required confirmation, that cancellation right ends when supply begins. We will not infer this consent from a pre-ticked box or from your general acceptance of the terms.
A loss of the change-of-mind cancellation right does not remove rights relating to faulty or misdescribed digital content. If the required immediate-supply steps have not been followed, the applicable cancellation right remains.
If software is faulty or not as described
Tell us what happened and provide the version, operating system and reproduction steps where possible. Paid digital content must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law. A repair or replacement may be the first remedy; an appropriate price reduction or refund may apply when the legal conditions are met. We will not use a blanket “no refunds” rule to deny statutory remedies.
If digital content damages a device or other digital content, statutory rights may apply where reasonable care and skill could have prevented that damage. Backing up your data is sensible and does not waive those rights.
Payment and delivery problems
Contact us if you were charged twice, charged an incorrect amount, or paid without receiving the promised delivery. We will check the payment and order records and correct confirmed errors. Do not place another order solely because a return page is slow to update.
Refunds we owe are returned using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without an additional refund fee. For a valid consumer cancellation, we will issue the reimbursement within 14 days of being informed, subject to any lawful exception. Your provider may take further time to display it.
Business orders
The statutory consumer cooling-off period does not generally apply to purchases wholly or mainly for business purposes. The accepted order and applicable law determine cancellation and remedies. Contact us promptly; a business purchase is not automatically treated as non-refundable.
